2014 Legislative Session
MNCOGI tracked several issues during the 2014 Minnesota Legislative Session, including reporting requirements on cell phone tracking, the establishment of a legislative commission on data practices, and a revision to the Minnesota Supreme Court’s “Helmberger” decision. MNCOGI was also involved in several pre-session discussions, including proposed changes to the Data Practices Act, and “traveling” law enforcement data.
